Milk Diet
Clearly milk has numerous nutrients as we’ve been told since childhood. We can say milk is the nectar on earth. It makes an excellent diet given the cow is healthy, fed with proper fodder and proper cleanliness maintained at milking time. Fresh milk means warm milk from the udder.Milk increases strength, easy of digestion and has a cooling effect. In all three ailments i.e. bile, cough and windiness, it acts as a curative agent and stimulant. Only fresh milk from the udder of a cow can be taken directly even after a short while it should be warmed. If cleanliness is doubted, it should be boiled. Milk cure reaches maximum effect when milk is taken regularly and not with other foods. Milk diet and milk cure are quite different. Milk diet means one can take as much milk as one can without leaving regular food but in milk cure only milk is taken in a regular planned way. Milk diet is useful to those who aim to increase their weight but in excess with other food is injurious to the digestive process. In contrast planned milk cure is beneficial in many diseases and eliminates digestive disorders. The large intestine has bacteria which cause putrefaction or fermentation. When milk is consumed with other food, these bacteria putrefy milk and cause fermentation in it. Digestion disorders soon follow. But people who live purely on milk suffer no such disorders. Reasons are: - If milk is taken in large quantity, its calcium content and other minerals in it check stomach acidity.
The efficacy of regain, an enzyme oozing in the stomach is reduced with the result that small quantities of split milk in stomach become smooth.
- If an exclusive milk-diet is taken in large quantity , its lactose directly reaches the intestines and inactivates the bacteria which cause fermentation and putrefaction in the intestines.
A patient on exclusive milk-diet is made to take 6 litres of milk during the latter half of the treatment period out of which 500 g of lactose directly reach intestines.

Milk cure or rejuvenation by milk has been around since ancient times. The protein of milk is of the highest biological value and easy of digestion. It has all the amino-acids for the body. milk Cure Pre-requisites First and foremost the patient should try simple and harmless natural remedies for cure of the disease. Afterwards commence milk-cure when disease is under control.
