Green Leafy Vegetable juice

Indigenous Natural Veggie Juice

Some of us often avoid leafy vegetables because we think they are a kind of grass but we lose valuable nutrients from this assumption.

Another reason is that they’re infested with insects which is true to some extent. However, that can be avoided with careful selection while buying.

Green leafy vegetables contain chlorophyll which is a powerful insecticide. When chewed they prevent decomposition of food particles between the teeth and destroy germs that cause teeth putrefaction.

Chlorophyll also destroys hostile bacteria formed in the intestines and the body.

It also satisfies protein requirement to some level of those who are on juice-diet or juice fasting.

The iron content of fresh green leafy vegetables gives relief in anaemia and weakness. They are rich in minerals which reduce acidity of the stomach and the body.

Human blood is alkaline hence the food that contains minerals is most suitable for man.

The unpalatable taste of leafy vegetable juice is false as it is tasty through proper combination e.g. The mixture of leafy vegetable juice with apple or carrot juice is quite delicious.

Those suffering from peptic or duodenal should not eat them directly because the fibers might harm them.

Juice taken without fiber is not harmful. Those who suffer from diarrhea or dysentery should restrict leafy vegetable consumption.

Spinach also contains a good amount of oxalates thus should be avoided from those who have kidney-stone.

Lets look at some of these Veggies.

Fenugreek and Alfalfa
