Wheatgrass juice

The wheat grass has been used with tremendous success for conquering cancer.

It is a fail -proof remedy for body rejuvenation.

You will realize new energy overflowing in your body like nectar being poured into you.

It contains all those substances that are in the blood of a healthy man the only difference being color.

Wheat grass juice can be called green blood.

Dr.Ann Wigmore, an eminent woman naturopath, can be considered the pioneer of the wheatgrass therapy. She has narrated in her books ‘Why Suffer’ and ‘Be Your Own Doctor’ the inspiring results obtained through use of the green blood.

Here is one testimonial.

Conquering cancer

A man of 65 years had been suffering from cancer for 14 years unable even to speak.

He tried the usual remedies chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery which only destroyed the major part of his jaw.

He used Ryle’s tube to feed as eating through the mouth was unbearable. He met a prominent plastic surgeon to reshape his deformed jaw. Unluckily he was told his cancer was of a spreading nature and the operation would be futile.

This patient disappointed and frustrated with his hopes dashed in front of his eyes heard about wheatgrass.

He met Dr.Wigmore on the 29th of September at that time his deformed face was terrible and the cancer gave an unbearable odour. The patient was admitted in her ‘Hippocrates Health Institute’ and started treatment with a glassful of wheatgrass-juice four times a day.

On the third day ,i.e. October 2nd , the cancerous part stopped emitting foul smell.

During the second week his regimen of wheat-grass juice was intensified. Also, a piece of cloth soaked in the wheat-grass was frequently kept around his throat and affected areas on his face. Within a few days, puss ceased flowing from the two wounds on the throat.

During the third week he begun talking a little turning sorrow into joy.

During the fourth week, old wounds begun to heal gradually.

After some days they were completely healed.

Then on 23rd November, he was checked by modern methods and all cancerous cells disappeared which surprised the doctors.

The deformation that remained on his face was removed by plastic surgery and he became a new man.

In books written by Dr. Wigmore, there are miraculous results of wheat-grass in more than 350 diseases.

She states that its use can cure minor or major diseases.

How to grow wheatgrass

  • Divide an open piece of land into 7 parts or use broad-mouthed earthen pots or wooden boxes. 7 such basins are for 1 person.

  • Fill ¾ of the basin with black soil and ¼ with manure. Manure should be natural(compost).Do not use chemical fertilizers.

  • The 1 square foot basin should be sown with 100 gm of wheat seeds. Usually 100-125 gm of wheatgrass grows out of this quantitiy.

  • Soak wheat grains for 12 hours before they are sown. Take them out of water and put them in a thick wet cloth. Bind the cloth tightly. These wheat-grains will be sprouted and if they are sown, height of the grass will be 5-7 inches.

  • Sprinkle water in the pot every 24 hours. Do not pour excess water as it hinders wheat growth.

As there are 7 earthen pots, wheat should be sown in 1 pot each day.

The wheat sown on the 1st day will grow into wheatgrass and on the 7th day they will be 7 inches which is ideal.

Then they should be cut with scissors or pulled out manually.

After removing wheatgrass the soil should be taken out of the pot and dried in sun heat.

Then a small quantity of manure should be added to soil before sowing.

N.B. All the 7 pots are not to be prepared at the same time.

How to extract juice

  • Thoroughly wash the wheatgrass removed from the pot.

  • Sprinkle some water on it then pound it in a domestic mortar or with a stone. Put in a cloth and extract juice by squeezing the cloth or extract juice with an electric gadgets.

One can consume wheatgrass directly by chewing it if juice is not desired.

After sucking the juice, fibers should be spitted out. Normally 5-6 ounces of juice can be extracted from 100 gm of water with some portion of water after sprinkling.

Dose and time taking for wheatgrass

An average daily dose in moderate illness or trouble is about 100 ml (or 100 gm of wheatgrass should be chewed.)

The person should begin with 25-50 ml gradually increasing the quantity.

Chronic diseases should finally reach 250-300 ml.

The juice should be taken immediately after extraction. It should not be swallowed but taken by draughts.

Nothing should be eaten or drunk half an hour before or after juice intake to preserve juice ingredient losses.

Beginning and caution

Before one begins to take exclusive wheatgrass juice, one should observe fast for a day or two or live purely on fruit-juices for 2-3 days.

It is more effective when taken after fasting.

In the initial stage one should take juice in small quantity. Gradually increase ‘dosage’ because some others suffer from nausea, fever, diarrhea, cold, vomiting after taking the juice.

This occurs in 5-7 % of cases.

Such symptoms should not worry you as you need only to dilute the juice with water.

If symptoms persist, stop taking it for 1-2 days then resume taking the juice when troublesome symptoms disappear. Nothing should be added for the sake of taste.

Benefits of wheatgrass

It is a medicinal live food that makes a complete food for the body.

  • Chlorophyll contained in the wheatgrass purifies blood and destroys hostile bacteria in the intestines. Chlorophyll particles are similar to haemoglobin so it can work as an iron-element in anaemia. Also, chlorophyll increases the function of the heart, benefits the vascular system, intestines, urinary bladder and lungs. It is a unique tonic as it enhances the basic change in nitrogen.

  • Vitamins ‘A’,‘B’,‘E’, and ‘K’ are in a large amount. Wheatgrass contains 600% more vitamin B complex than wheat.

  • Laetrile which is an anti-cancer element is in a large amount. Wheatgrass contains 100 times more laetrile than wheat.

  • Magnesium which keeps 30 enzymes in our body active.

A belief that uncooked or raw food is heavy to digestion and produces abdominal pain is groundless.

The fact is that cooked food takes 6-8 hours for complete digestion, raw food 3-4 hours whereas fruit and vegetable-juices take 1-1½ hours.

Therefore juices give quick nourishment.
